A spare weekend with no Mountain biking events I found myself entering a 2 day ACE race in Wales. Then, having bumped into Gary Thompsett I was signed up for two 30 hour non stop events. Nothing like jumping in at the deep end
What is you favorite piece of kit and why?
Mountain Hardwear Transition Top. I live in it- just such a great performance top. I normally just wear it on its own, seem to be able to regulate my temperature fine going from bike to run to kayak where others are faffing with different layers.
Why would you recomend someone to have 'a-go' at adventure racing?
Adventure Racing challenges you mentally and physically. It is addictive pushing your self to the limit and beyond. You always thing never again and then find your self looking what the next race is.
